NFPA Certified Hazmat Products

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics' NFPA certified product line is recognized throughout the world for providing the highest level of comfort and protection available on the market.

NFPA Certification

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) develops, publishes, and disseminates more than 300 concensus codes and standards intended to minimize the possibility and effects of fire and other risks.  Virtually every building, process, service, design, and installation in society today is affected by NFPA documets.  For more information about NFPA certifications, please refer to our brochure, "Understanding Certification" that explains, in detail, NFPA 1991 and NFPA 1994, as well as how these two high performance standards differ.

An article titled, "Advances in Chemical Protective Ensemble Technology," published in 2008 with cooperation from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, also examines a number of issues related to certification.

We urge anyone who is unclear about the issues surrounding certification to read this information and other articles, as well as various materials published in this website's Document Center.  Contact us if you have further questions.
